I met Mario almost 10 years ago at an educational seminar for tourist animators, after which we were both selected for the job of the animator in a large Croatian tourist company. We worked together for four tourist seasons in a popular camp near Poreč in Istria.
I have to say that working with Mario was a wonderful experience because he is a great team member and always ready to cooperate and to help get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Professionally, and most of all with heart and passion, he enjoyed working with children and teenagers and was in charge of organizing the activities and programs of the Teens Club while the guests adored him.
In our free time, Mario often initiated, planned and organized joint gatherings and excursions, which is why our team travelled almost all of Istria. Mario was always finding ways to improve the work atmosphere, either through jokes and personalized poetry dedicated to us colleagues :) or by participating in activities in a way that made us, guests and the audience laugh at his improvisations on stage. He made our work environment more interesting and inspired all colleagues with his effort and relaxation techniques. He provided exceptional support in the business area but also in private life.
With his attitude and ideas, he is a creative person, a great colleague who always tries to make the people around him feel accepted and happy, but most of all he is a very responsible person dedicated to his job.
I have known Mario since February 2018. He had enrolled into the drama course for adults, which I ran in Zagreb. Mario attended the workshops regularly and put a lot of effort and energy into the work we did. The following year, Mario was invited to join our advanced group of acting students, and continue developing his acting skills while working on a stage production, that we planned to perform at the Amateur Theatre Group Festival in March 2020.
In the course of the 2 years that I worked with Mario, he came across as an open and outgoing person, with great communication and team work skills. He was very cooperative in everything we worked on, readily going out of his comfort zone to achieve what was asked of him. Mario was also always willing to help others with their work when needed, demonstrating great team work skills and empathy. Mario possesses excellent social skills, he is a very dependable and trustworthy person and has an optimistic outlook on life.
He is also hardworking, he would always came to rehearsals on time, helping with setup and costumes and taking his role in the play seriously, with lots of responsibility. Mario is a very pleasant person to be around and his responsible and supportive behaviour paired with an optimistic outlook on life and can-do attitude makes everyone feel relaxed and safe around him. I believe he would make a valuable addition to any team he joins.
I'm Zlatko Pavlinic and I'm a retired film and animation director at Zagreb film. After a successful career, I changed my profession and started studying and teaching shiatsu bodywork technique. I met Mario a few years ago while he was working in the institution for the education of adults, Galbanum.
Mario is an excellent shiatsu practitioner. We worked together on a manual/book for the shiatsu school and his computer skills were very useful. I was his professor and I can say that he graduated as one of my best students. In technical terms, there is no problem he can’t solve in the computer world! He has exceptional managerial and organizational abilities. A versatile, talented young man who will easily fit into any team. He is loyal and a true friend.
Seize the day! That is the motto of my young colleague, Mario. This versatile young man (gymnast, actor and writer in his spare time), was an excellent "comrade" - a member of the team who was always ready to cooperate and help get the work done as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
It was late autumn when Mario, still a young student, came to us for the first time. It’s been almost ten years since then and I’m really grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him and work with him.
We worked together for almost ten years and ran the Galbanum School very successfully. Although he started as a student, over time he became the head of the school and the leader of the large EU project "Nova stručnost – Nova budućnost” (New Expertise - New Future), which he wrote himself. He is a warm and kind person who will listen to everyone attentively. He paid special attention to our students, especially the young people. It was very important to him that everyone was satisfied, and that the quality was at a high level. No task was difficult when working with him. He was always ready to help and support me and often devised ways to improve the working environment. In addition to being a loyal and hard worker, he is also a true friend. He brings simplicity and relaxation to the workplace with his cheerful personality.
From the first moment we had very clear and easy communication. My impression of Mario is that whatever project he undertakes, he manages to realize it, thanks to the professional attitude and dedication, which carries from beginning to end.
Thanks to Mario, we organized and successfully conducted 3 courses in Zagreb in 2018 and 2019.
I have taught courses in many cities and countries and I can say that those organized by Mario were with the best and professionally conducted organization. He is responsible, reliable and working with him is a real pleasure.
